• * This swimsuit is made of the innovative material ECONYL: regenerated high-quality nylon made from discarded plastic. This reduces waste as well as having a lower environmental impact than new nylon (made from petroleum). The material feels super soft, offers SPF50 sun protection and is resistant to chlorine and saltwater.

• * Maintenance: always rinse your swimsuit with cold (fresh) water immediately after swimming, do not let it dry in direct sunlight. If it is necessary to wash use a hand wash of max 30oC and use delicate detergent. Extra tips: do not hand wet bathing suit at the straps to prevent stretching and do not wring it out.

Fair Trade: All Lilja’s items are ethically handmade in their factory on the paradise island of Bali in Indonesia. The factory is family-run and employs 36 people. Lilja trusts the factory and visits them to make sure the employees work in a safe and fair environment. 

Environmentally Friendly: Lilja’s swimwear is made using sustainable materials such as ECONYL® regenerated nylon and REPREVE® recycled plastic bottles. The entire shipping package is fully recyclable and plastic-free.
